Hours: 38 per week

Salary: $65-$70 (depending on qualifications & experience) excl bonuses & allowances

DNA Electrics & Co is a company with over 20 years’ experience in fixed plant, winders (man  winder and rock winders), headframes, conveyor belts, etc and are not limited to working with  the latest technology. DNA Electrics and Co has exceptional experience in  • Communication – Data Cabling, PLC’s, CITEC, HMI’s, etc • Instrumentation – Install, commission of level, pressure, flow, temperature, etc. • Electrical equipment – VSD’s, soft starters, smart relays, and RCD. • Hydraulic and pneumatics systems install commission and repairs. • Conveyors, crushers, ventilation fans, batch plants, paste plants, etc. • Winder (double drum & friction winders) • Headframes • Shafts & loading arrangements 

JOB DESCRIPTION:  The current role is available for a qualified electrician with underground and/or winder experience. Having large contracts coming up, DnA Electrics & Co require qualified electricians with the relevant knowledge and experience to perform and conduct day to day work in the maintenance department as well as conduct work in Construction. The right candidate will be required to install new cables, wires and all electrical components as per Australian Regulations and standards as well as maintain the highest level of Health & Safety in the work place. The electrician appointed will also be required to perform fault finding and problem solving in all areas of the work place. The electrician appointed will be required to follow | read | execute electrical drawings and scope of works where required. The appointed electrician is required to show integrity, have good communication skills, work in a team and also alone, follow company rules, comply to company standards, codes and regulations. The appointed electrician will need to attend training from time to time according to work location requirement as well as pass a Pre-Employments Medical Exam and Drug & Alcohol Screening. 

Additional: All electricians will be responsible for their allocated jobs/tasks scheduled according to qualifications, experience and other factors. As an employee of DnA Electrics & Co, you will be responsible to adhere to and maintain all mine site rules and regulations including maintaining high standards in Occupational Health & Safety at all time. 

REQUIREMENT: Qualified electrician with tafe qualification and at least 2 years post qualification experience, Drivers license, Police check, Working at heights Certificate, WA Electrical License, Basic First Aid Certificate.

Underground and Winder experience will be of an advantage.

WHAT WE OFFER: Above award rate, Paid Super. Options of Casual, Part-time and Full time available and can be discussed in the interview. Paid accommodation, traveling and meals when flying to the mine sites. You will also receive a Living Out Allowance when working away from home.

• Electrician: 5 years with underground and winder experience
